Our Story

I came back from the US with a master's in AI, and the first thing I did was grow plants. There was something grounding about watching biology do its thing after years of staring at algorithms.

Then I found fungi. The functional kind. Lion's Mane that sharpens your focus. Reishi that helps you sleep. Cordyceps that fuels you with clean, sustained energy. I started growing them in a small room in Bengaluru with paddy straw substrate and borrowed equipment.

Nine years, three ICAR certifications, and thousands of substrate blocks later — I knew exactly what I wanted to build: a brand rooted in the organism itself. One that extracts properly, tests every batch, and makes products that fit how India actually eats and drinks.

Mushies is that vision, fully realised. Every product starts in our Bengaluru grow room. We know the organism because we cultivate it ourselves. We dual extract from the whole fruiting body — where the potency lives. We test every batch through SGS Labs. And every product carries clinical doses backed by published research.
